PremCloud Total Access Optic

The days of relying solely on legacy data centers are over. The new data center landscape is largely virtualized and spread across multiple, geographically distributed sites and public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. But building, connecting, and securing this array of computing power is a complex job—and one that requires a new type of data center network, starting with an architecture optimized for the cloud era and an infrastructure that gives our clients agility, automation, and simplicity. But simply choosing a cloud solution for unified archiving leaves our multinational clients at perilous risk [and, more importantly, without full ownership and control of their data].

Fortunately, Unified Global Archiving has eliminated the disadvantage of having to choose between on-premise and cloud-hosted data by presenting a more nimble paradigm for the location of data and the software solutions we offer. Our PremCloud Hosting perspective speaks directly to the strategic versatility of our hosting alternatives that we can now provide our clients [especially our multinational clients]. Our customer’s data archival needs can no longer be satisfied by the limitation of simply choosing between a cloud-hosted or on-premise solution – there is a need for a more adaptable hosting alternative, and that solution is our PremCloudTM.

Our groundbreaking PremCloud provides adaptable data archiving solutions with managed services for our accounts worldwide regardless of where their data resides in our PremCloud. Our customers can rely on our software and PremCloud Managed Services for the archiving, security, management, and performance of their valuable and ever-increasing data.

Every multinational enterprise has a variety of native domicile conditions to deal with: Sovereignty, dominion, residency, accessibility, laws, restrictions, custody, compliance, costs, risk, intellectual resources, security, safety, and manageability will undoubtedly differ in each location. They undoubtedly require different hosting environments for their archived data. For example, in Germany, they may want to host their data in their own data center and have us provide the appropriate managed services for our EAS 9.0 solution, while in Hong Kong, they may want us to host it for them as well. And in Canada, they may want to host it, but have us fully manage it. And on and on … Whether it is in our customer’s own data center, a data center we provide and manage for them, or a fully hosted presence in one of our PremCloud Data Centers – we can now offer our customers the most advantageous residence of their data [and data custody] based on a number of criteria and laws specific to the countries or regions they are operating in.

The key is that our customers always truly own their data – while they can rely on us for the security, management, and administrative optic that our market-leading PremCloud based solutions provide. And what EAS 10.0 and our newest apps can do with data for our enterprise clients is truly magic – and that magic starts with PremCloudHosting.

Many organizations share a vision of having all workloads, analytics, and applications running on a common dataset, or a scalable, multi-tenant platform for all data and analytics workloads. This movement begins with consolidating data. PremCloudHosting is a service model in which data is maintained, managed, backed up remotely and made available to users over a network through our PremCloud Dashboard. Our PremCloud Total Access administrative optic with CISO Sentinel allows our customers total consolidated administrative access to their data, as well as the governance of the entire processing of data coming in and going out of their unified archiving vault. This allows for not only a better administrative optic, but it also allows for the more robust use of their valuable archived data for a limitless amount of utilization.

Our new PremCloud Total Access administrative optic with CISO Sentinel allows our customers total access to their data, as well as the governance of the entire processing of data coming in and going out of their archiving vault. PremCloud Total Access Optic

The PremCloud Total Access Optic encompasses all aspects of EAS 10.0 archive data, PremCloud administration, PremCloud System Performance, and management including:

PremCloud EAS Data Optic The PremCloud EAS data optic provides PremCloud customers with all the information they need about the location, volumes, quality, and care of their entire global estate of archived data. Information is included for all types of file and message data being captured into the archive across all PremCloud deployments on a global basis. This capability is a unique capability delivered by PremCloud setting us apart from all other archive providers. Available with the EAS 10.0 release, the type of information captured and presented through the EAS Data Optic includes items such as:

  1. Daily message ingestion by message type

  2. Daily message ingestion size

  3. The volume of emails outgoing vs. incoming vs internal

  4. Top sender domain rankings

  5. Top recipient domains rankings

  6. Number of encrypted messages sent over a configurable time frame

  7. Total number of archived users with messaging data

  8. Top user accounts by a number of messages and files

  9. Total uncompressed archive size

  10. Total compressed archive size deduplicated and compressed

  11. Total size estimated restore to mail or file systems reduplicated and uncompressed

PremCloud Service Performance Optic The PremCloud Service Performance Optic is currently being defined by our PremCloud Professional service and Maintenance and support teams lead by Peter Mellet and Mark Horton. This Optic will include all the key performance information related to the EAS archive hosting and storage environment, system performance characteristics, visibility into Solr index performance, and information on Azure and exchange sies and performance related to the archive.

PremCloud EAS User Management Optic The PremCloud EAS data optic provides PremCloud customers with all the information they need about end-user access to their archives. It includes information on all users globally by business unit and sovereignty. This capability is a unique capability delivered by PremCloud setting us apart from all other archive providers. We will be working with our key customers to define the User Management Optic for the EAS 10.0 release. The type of information captured and presented through the EAS User Management Optic includes items such as:

  1. Rankings of users who have most frequently logged in over a configurable time frame

  2. Number of users with delegate access to one or more mailboxes

  3. Total number of Discovery users

  4. Ranking of users by number of searches performed over a configurable time frame

  5. Ranking of users by number of retrievals/downloads over a configurable time frame

  6. Total number of searches performed by users

  7. Total number of retrievals/downloads performed

  8. Total number of Discovery cases

  9. Total number of Discovery searches

  10. Total number of Discovery exports

  11. Discovery cases over a configurable time frame (1 year, 6 months 3 months)

  12. Discovery searches over a configurable time frame (1 year, 6 months 3 months)

  13. Discovery exports over a configurable time frame (1 year, 6 months 3 months)

  14. Average Discovery search completion time

  15. Average Export time

  16. The total amount of data on legal hold (number of messages)

  17. The total amount of data on legal hold (in MB)

  18. Number of overall read vs unread messages associated to legal cases

  19. The average case closure rate

PremCloud Support Service Management Optic The PremCloud Service Management Optic provides customers the insight and access they need to log maintenance and support incidents, request managed service requests and to receive proactive messaging and information from PremCloud Services. This includes analysis on problems reported, problem ticket resolution, ongoing communication on maintenance and support activity and a knowledge base to assist customers in problem self-resolution.

PremCloud Security and Compliance Optic The PremCloud Security and Compliance Total Access Optic is provided in conjunction with CISO Sentinel. CISO Sentinel is a Security & Compliance Continuous Monitoring platform that provides holistic oversight, management, and visibility into the ongoing security and compliance efforts of the enterprise by providing a single source of truth. It enables organizations to take control of their security and compliance programs by prioritizing the review of critical security alerts, automating business processes, eliminating redundant efforts, and streamlining compliance and management reporting.
